By booking any coaching session or program with Godfrey Performance Studio, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before booking.

1. Services provided

Godfrey Performance Studio provides coaching and educational services related to audiobook narration, acting, and performance technique. All coaching is provided via Zoom unless otherwise arranged.

2. Payment terms

For one-on-one sessions, payment is due at the time of booking. Sessions are $150 per hour (60 minutes). Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods. All prices are in USD.

3. Cancellation and rescheduling

24 hours' notice required. Clients may cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours' advance notice without penalty. Cancellations or rescheduling requests with less than 24 hours' notice forfeit the full session fee. To cancel or reschedule, email matt@mattgodfrey.net or use your booking confirmation link.

No-shows. Failure to attend a scheduled session without prior notice results in forfeiture of the full session fee. No refunds or credits are issued for no-shows.

Coach cancellations. In the rare event that Matt Godfrey must cancel a session, clients receive a full refund or rescheduling at no charge.

4. Refunds

Sessions cancelled with 24 or more hours' notice receive a full refund. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, are not refunded.

5. Session recordings and materials

Recordings. Sessions may be recorded for client reference with mutual consent. Clients own any recordings of their own sessions. Recordings are for personal use only and may not be shared publicly or redistributed.

Course materials. All coaching materials, handouts, and curriculum provided by Godfrey Performance Studio remain the intellectual property of Matt Godfrey. Materials are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, or used commercially without written permission.

6. Results and expectations

Coaching services are educational in nature. While we provide expert guidance and technique, we cannot guarantee specific career outcomes, bookings, or income. Success depends on many factors, including client effort, market conditions, and individual talent.

Clients are responsible for implementing the techniques they learn and for their own career decisions and business practices. Coaching does not constitute career management or representation.

7. Professional boundaries

The relationship between coach and client is professional and educational. Matt Godfrey is not your agent, manager, or business partner. Career decisions remain solely the responsibility of the client.

Information shared during coaching sessions is kept confidential, except where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of harm.

8. Code of conduct

All interactions must be professional and respectful. Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior results in immediate termination of services without refund. Matt Godfrey reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

9. Technical requirements

Clients must have a reliable internet connection for Zoom sessions and are responsible for their own technical setup and troubleshooting. Session time will not be extended due to client technical difficulties. If technical issues on the coach's end prevent a session, a full refund or reschedule is provided.

10. Liability

Godfrey Performance Studio and Matt Godfrey are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from coaching services. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. Coaching advice is based on professional experience and may not be suitable for every individual situation.

Vocal coaching involves physical technique. Clients should consult a medical professional if they have vocal health concerns, and participate in vocal exercises at their own risk.

11. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your own performances, recordings, and creative work. Godfrey Performance Studio may request permission to use anonymized examples or testimonials for marketing purposes.

The Prep + Presence Method, course curriculum, and all teaching materials are proprietary to Godfrey Performance Studio. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use is prohibited.

12. Modification of terms

Godfrey Performance Studio reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alabama.

Agreement

By booking any service with Godfrey Performance Studio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
